DeWalt DW716 miter saw zero clearance insert plate
€ 21,95 – € 22,95
Looking for an accurate way to work with your DeWalt DW716 saw? This 3D printed (PLA or PETG) zero clearance insert offers the perfect solution! This insert ensures optimum precision and prevents splintering of materials during sawing.
The zero-clearance insert not only ensures a clean finish but also protects your workpieces and saw blade. The snug fit minimizes the gap around the saw blade, significantly reducing the risk of splinters and chipped edges. Ideal for fine woodwork, laminate, and other delicate materials.
-= SUITABLE FOR =-
This insert plate is designed specifically for the DeWalt DW716 (non-extendable version). Although the design is based on this specific model, the plate would possibly also fit the following models (not tested): DW703, DW704, DW705 and DW715. Please allow for minor model deviations.
-= INSTALLATION MANUAL =-
Insert the insert into the opening and secure it with the original screws. Move the saw blade up and down manually (without switching the saw on) to check that the cutting edge lightly touches the surface of the insert. Then turn on the saw and make a full cut through the insert, as you would normally do with a workpiece. Perform this at an even pace; avoid cutting too slowly to avoid melting the plastic due to frictional heat. Then raise the saw blade again - you now have a perfectly fitting zero clearance insert.
